New page

Player Editor for Atari ST is a piece of shareware software to edit the Kick Off Series. It's possible to change all the teams of Kick Off 2, Final Whistle and (for the future releases) Player Manager!

The last version found is dated 4 september 1991. The name of the software is: Player Editor, version 4.19p, name of the developer: Gil Douglas

With the full version it was possible to change leagues and Cup also on Reurn to Europe.

You can edit league (.LGE) and cup (.CUP) file with teams modified insed together with customized kits.
Now possible:
* With the Atari ST emulation you can create custom competitions with customized (and updated) teams: the possible competitions actually are Kick Off 2 style league and cup + Return To Europe cups (32 and 16 teams).
* Realize an Amiga ADF data disk containing all the info on the cup/league.
* Play with Amiga KO2 Final Whistle AND Kick Off 2 competition version too with the data disk loading the competition.

What we would like to discover is how to load .SQD (squad) file along with .LGE (league) and .CUP (cup) in Kick Off 2: It seems like in Kick Off 2 (Final Whistle too) its possible to load only Player Manager team file and not a generic team file.
